Building Reception Desks

Reception desks – The main characteristics that distinguish a desk from a desk are attractive and privacy. The front desk is the first potential customers to see when they enter the office, and therefore the utilitarian plate that many of us cannot work with. It also has to hide some work the receptionist does, because even a handsome person in work can look like an unorganized mess. This is a fairly complex low margin project for errors. Just take it if you are quite experienced in carpentry.

Cut wood yourself for reception desks to the necessary measurements with your chainsaw. Do this by drawing a line across the work a distance from one end equal to the length you need as a piece of wood should be. Start the chainsaw and move the blade along the line you have drawn. Draw lines on your drywall to match the dimensions you need. Cut the surface of the drywall by putting the knife and driving it along the lines that you designed. If the knife does not go all the way through the plaster, you can break it by bending it along the intersection to make a second clip.

Framing

Set two 72-inch beams and two 39-inch beams in a rectangle with shorter beams inside longer beams. The reception desks should rest on their narrowest sides. Nail them into place with two frames of nails per joint; drive them through the face on the longer beam of light and into the end of the shorter beam.
