Cold Glow Billiard Tables Lighting Ideas

Lighting your billiard tables is important not only for lighting while playing. But also for creating a sense of style in your pool table area or shelter. Traditional pool table lighting consists of one or more lights shaded with colored glass hanging over the pool table. These lights are easily available at billiard delivery stores.

And they are available in many designs, but your pool table lighting need not be limited to these fixtures. Blue rope light wrapped around the billiard tables, under the lip so the rope is hidden but the glow is visible, can add a neon-like lust to the billiard tables atmosphere. On game nights puts a blue glow stick (the type you crack and shake as usual is available at party delivery stores) inside the ball return opening.

For large-scale projector, install a track light with blue glass beads and use low wattal bulbs. These to keep the atmosphere cool and dark while having enough light to see the playing field. For extra quirkiness, use a black light as an overhead fixture. And place glow-in-the-dark tape around the edges of the billiard tables. The black light will pick up the white on pool balls while glow tape and rope lights provide enough ambient light to look.
